Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to support advanced planning and innovation efforts for industrial facility infrastructure. This role focuses on engineering planning, analysis, and development of innovative concepts for facility design and construction to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.

The position supports infrastructure development for manufacturing operations and on-site suppliers, enabling the production of high-quality products in a safe and regulatory-compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support during early project planning, focusing on industrial building mechanical system design and pre‑construction analysis.

Conduct studies on innovative technical designs and implementation methods, including cost and schedule impacts.

Research and benchmark industry trends to improve building design, installation, and operational efficiency.

Support development of project justifications, business cases, and management presentations.

Provide mechanical engineering expertise throughout planning, design, and construction phases.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams and external partners to meet project objectives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline), or 5+ years of hands‑on experience with building mechanical systems.

5+ years of experience in building design, construction, and/or operations & maintenance.

5+ years of experience with industrial building mechanical systems such as HVAC, process piping, chilled water, and compressed air.

3+ years of reporting and presentation experience.

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

Professional Engineering (PE) license.

Experience with industrial control or automation systems (e.g., Building Management Systems, Energy Management Systems, fire alarm systems, SCADA).

Experience with industrial chemical systems (wastewater, tank farms, etc.).

Familiarity with Power BI, Bluebeam Revu, Navisworks, and/or AutoCAD.

Industry certifications such as ASHRAE, CEM, LEED AP, PMP, or similar.

Strong problem‑solving skills with a continuous improvement (Kaizen) mindset.
