Who We’re Looking For Our Advanced Planning & Innovation team is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to help shape the future of battery manufacturing. Our mission:
✔ Provide world‑class facility infrastructure for battery production and on‑site suppliers
✔ Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
✔ Drive innovation and efficiency in design and construction
What You’ll Be Doing As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:
✅ Offer technical support for early project planning, focusing on industrial building mechanical systems
✅ Conduct studies on innovative design and implementation procedures, including cost and schedule impacts
✅ Research and benchmark industry trends to enhance building design and installation
✅ Develop project justifications, business cases, and management presentations
✅ Provide technical expertise throughout planning, design, and construction phases
What You Bring (Must‑Haves)
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) OR 5 years hands‑on experience
✔ 5 years in building design, construction, or maintenance
✔ Expertise in industrial mechanical systems (HVAC, process piping, chilled water, compressed air)
✔ Strong reporting & presentation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office
✔ Ability to collaborate across departments and drive results
What You May Bring (Nice‑to‑Haves)
PE License
Experience with industrial control/automation systems
Familiarity with chemical systems (wastewater, tank farms)
Tools: Power BI, Bluebeam Revu, Navisworks, AutoCAD
Certifications: ASHRAE, CEM, LEED AP, PMP
Kaizen mindset and problem‑solving skills
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Georgetown, KY.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 – $75.00/hr.
