The
ABA Clinician
position allows you to work as an In‑Home Behavior Therapist and a Behavior Technician, balancing unrestricted and restricted fieldwork hours while gaining hands‑on experience needed to practice as a BCBA.
In‑Home Behavior Therapist (IHBT) You will provide structured, consistent, strength‑based therapeutic interventions in a client’s home to treat a youth’s behavioral needs. IHBTs support caregivers to better understand their children’s needs by exploring patterns of behavior and improving communication.
Behavior Technician Responsible for implementing clients’ behavior support plans to decrease problematic behavior and providing ABA‑based instruction to promote new skill development, under the direction of the supervising BCBA. The Technician will monitor client behavior, collect data, and report to the BCBA, working collaboratively with the supervising BCBA and client’s family to support meaningful changes in behavior.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education, or related CBHI‑approved program
Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting (highly desirable)
Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral‑emotional disorders (preferred)
Experience working with children on the autism spectrum (desirable)
Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle access
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Experience implementing behavioral interventions in applied settings (preferred)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
