Shift Hours: 5:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday. Overtime may exceed these hours and can be mandatory at times.
The hourly rate for this position is $16.00 per hour. Salary is a general guideline only; actual compensation will depend on experience, skill level, and market considerations.
What You’ll Do The Material Handler uses forklift or power equipment to move and store a variety of materials, parts, or products. Responsibilities include unloading incoming materials from trailers and vehicles, transporting items from incoming staging to finished goods staging or storage areas, storing, stacking, arranging, and maintaining related documentation. May operate an overhead crane or hoist (only crane certified associates). Verify, identify, and quantify items received against purchase order, visually inspect and count items, detect shortages, damages, broken packages, and obvious defects, complete related documentation, move or expedite material to the proper department, pull material and package for delivery to Service Centers, and use the KanBan system to order and replenish materials.
In This Function, You Will
Visually inspect for damaged material.
Safely and efficiently deliver materials to storeroom locations or points of use.
Notify internal customers of receipts or products marked for their attention; maintain a working relationship with internal customers.
Receive purchase orders in the system; separate AML material from non‑AML (Kanban).
Sort and disperse return material; maintain all documentation accordingly.
Unload trucks and verify freight bills; match material against packing lists.
Pull parts from storeroom for Service Center packing; ensure packaging meets standards to prevent loss or damage.
Process internal Kanban cards and assist in maintaining the Kanban system.
Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Fayetteville, NC (Active‑Duty Military Service members are exempt).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in material handling within a manufacturing setting.
Experience operating a forklift, either stand‑up or sit‑down.
Position Criteria
Ability to communicate effectively with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts and components that meet quality specifications.
Flexibility to fill other departments as needed to meet customer and company expectations.
Proficiency with AS400, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Vista.
Ability to use electrical schematics and blueprints to identify necessary parts and components.
Skill with handheld scanners to track inventory in Shipping & Receiving.
