Material Handler – 3rd Shift
Join Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division as a Material Handler on the 3rd shift (10:00 pm–5:00 am). This role involves material handling, forklift operation, and documentation within a manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Transport items from staging areas to storage or shipping locations.
Operate forklift, overhead crane, or hoist as needed.
Verify materials against packing lists and shipping documents.
Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety standards.
Assist with truck pick‑ups, deliveries, and vendor coordination.
Support internal inventory, Kanban cards, and annual cycle counts.
Collaborate with planners, buyers, and supervisors to resolve material issues.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
2+ years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Forklift certification and prior warehouse experience preferred.
Computer and material tracking system proficiency.
Ability to lift 40 lb.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Preferred
Legal ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Candidate located within 50 mi of Santa Ana, CA.
Compensation Hourly rate of $23.40 per hour plus a $3.00 shift premium. Full benefits package and 401(k) plan start day one.
