Client Services Representative - (SAER) North Carolina State University

Essential Job Duties

Provide customer service to current and potential clients, including rDVMs.

Check in clients and create medical records.

Review consent forms and process deposits and payments.

Process referrals and manage multiple incoming phone lines while multitasking.

Communicate effectively with clinical team members.

Posting Details Position: Temporary (Position Number 19PLS05666, Posting Number PG195320TM)

Work Schedule: TBD, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each, afternoons/evenings Mon – Thurs.

Pay: $15 – $18 per hour

Job Location: Raleigh, NC

Minimum Experience/Education High School Diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Department Required Skills

Knowledge of Google Suite, email, and scanners.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and customer‑service skills.

Professional interaction with clients, faculty, and staff in demanding situations.

Ability to interpret VHC guidelines and client needs to determine emergencies.

Management of multiple phone lines while assisting in‑person clients.

Emotional intelligence, empathy, and ability to mentally process difficult cases.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Previous client‑service experience in a veterinary emergency, ICU, or medical setting is preferred.
