Facilities Mechanic 3 (DAY) – SYGMA – US
Responsible for maintaining the organization’s warehouse equipment. Perform all assigned planned maintenance on organization lift trucks, batteries and accessories. Demonstrate an understanding of all work safety policies, procedures and governing requirements.
Duties And Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair lift trucks.
Maintain MHE parts inventory and shop.
Process work order in maintenance software after completion of each job.
Perform daily ammonia refrigeration operator duties, including ePSM inspections and logs.
Knowledge of high‑ and low‑voltage controls and electrical systems.
Proficient in electrical meter testing, arc‑flash requirements and PLC troubleshooting.
Complete welding projects and general building maintenance (carpentry, painting, plumbing).
Maintain facility assets through scheduled preventative maintenance and repair activities.
Log time and materials into CMMS daily.
Adhere to all safety requirements and wear proper PPE.
Respond to emergency situations to ensure employee and facility safety.
Education Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required 3+ years of experience with good mechanical and electrical aptitude, knowledge of warehouse material handling equipment, electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Experience Preferred Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment.
Licenses/Certification Required Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate all warehouse equipment.
License/Certification Preferred RETA‑CIRO or ability to obtain one within one year.

Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Language Requirements English.
