Position Summary

Recruiting a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician for a dynamic team at Walmart. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facilities, equipment, and assets through multiple craft skills such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling. The candidate will support store operations, respond to emergency calls, and perform routine maintenance to enhance the customer experience. Minimum Qualifications

18 years or older High School Diploma or equivalent Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record, ability to pass an MVR report Vocational or Technical certification and at least 5 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, or material handling equipment (or 7 years in the same trades) 1 year’s experience using intermediate-level word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Capability to lift up to 75 lbs. Experience moving up and down ladders frequently Comfortable working at heights frequently Key Responsibilities

Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and hand/power tools. Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders, support store associates, and document repair activities. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely. Benefits and Walmart Perks

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 – $40.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
