$20.00/hour (negotiable based on education & experience) Regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Qualifications Associate or Bachelor degree in business or related field preferred. Proficiency with typing, filing, and knowledge of general office equipment. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have current valid driver’s license with good standing driving record. Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
Position Details (This is a sampling of duties/responsibilities of this position) Provides administrative and clerical support to the Chief Executive Officer and others as directed by the Chief Executive Officer. Prepares letters, memos, general correspondence, presentations and spreadsheets and organizes and maintains files. Provides general administrative support including answering phones, maintaining office supplies and equipment and overseeing office cleaning and maintenance. Hold or be willing to obtain West Virginia Notary. Obtain signatures and notarizations for grants and other documentation as needed. Provides administrative assistance and support for Board of Directors and attends all Board and Committee meetings, takes minutes, transcribes and distributes board packets prior to all regularly scheduled Board meetings. Conducts Board and Committee communication as needed. Maintains and updates the Board manual for distribution to new Board members. Orients new members to the Board of Directors. Uses discretion, sound judgement, tact and diplomacy in all communication (both written and oral). Prioritizes and screens mail and meeting requests and calls for the Chief Executive Officer daily along with various assignments. Schedules travel arrangements for CEO, CFO and Human Resource Director. Works independently and as part of a team on special ongoing projects and acts as a project manager for certain assignments. Prioritizes and multi-tasks various assignments with minimal supervision. Maintains confidentiality of assignments, privileged information, client data and contracts. Available for local and overnight travel. Perform other duties as assigned or necessary to maintain the efficiency of the organization.
Carries out duties and responsibilities with limited supervision and takes initiative when necessary. Makes decisions and establishes work priorities based on needs of executive offices within the scope of policy and procedures.
