Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Tax to lead our tax strategy and compliance efforts. This role is pivotal in driving business growth and ensuring adherence to tax regulations, while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. As a key member of our finance team, you will have the opportunity to shape tax policies, mentor junior staff, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement tax strategies that align with business objectives and ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Manage tax audits and inquiries, serving as the primary point of contact with tax authorities.

Provide guidance on tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions, including acquisition integration and revenue recognition.

Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization, proactively advising senior management.

Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify tax planning opportunities and optimize tax positions.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, with a strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.

Proficiency in tax software and ERPs such as SAP or NetSuite.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly.

Experience in acquisition integration and ASC-740 revenue recognition.

Nice-to-Have:

Master's degree in Taxation or related field.

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, EA) is preferred.

Experience in international tax matters and compliance.

Familiarity with tax planning strategies and risk management.
