Maintenance Technician – Wesley Chapel, FL
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Collier Companies. This on‑site role reports from the Tampa community office.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the team in ensuring property physical aspects meet company standards. You will troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC (if certified), pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliance repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliance issues.
Diagnose problems and provide solutions with a customer service attitude.
Complete maintenance work orders efficiently and in a timely manner.
Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and emergency on‑call rotation.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
1+ year experience as a maintenance technician preferred.
Universal EPA certification is a plus.
Knowledge of appliances, plumbing, HVAC.
Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
Organized and detail oriented.
Reliable transportation and valid Florida driver’s license.
Basic tools and able to pass a maintenance test.
Full‑time position with emergency on‑call commitment; overtime during peak season.
