as a Maintenance Technician in Gainesville, FL. This on‑site position reports from our community office in Gainesville and offers you the chance to work in a beautiful environment.
Responsibilities As a Maintenance Technician you will support the Maintenance Team to ensure that the physical aspects of the property meet the company’s established standards. You will troubleshoot, diagnose problems, and provide solutions with a customer‑service attitude. Responsibilities may include – but are not limited to – repairs in areas such as HVAC (if certified), electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structural, and appliance maintenance.
Qualifications
Universal EPA certification is a plus.
At least one year of experience as a maintenance technician preferred.
Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
Apartment housing experience highly preferred.
Working knowledge of appliances, plumbing, and HVAC.
Organized, efficient, and detail‑oriented to complete work orders.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and emergency on‑call rotation.
Proven track record of excellent customer service.
Must have basic tools and be able to pass a basic maintenance test.
Reliable transportation and a valid in‑state driver’s license.
Full‑time position includes emergency on‑call commitment and overtime during the summer/fall turn season.
