Position Overview The Quick Serve Team Member is a key position within Dining Services. This position will work within Abel Dining Center, which is one of the quick‑serve made‑to‑order concepts that relies on the mobile ordering platform for orders.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform all back‑of‑the‑house kitchen duties, including ingredient and food preparation, inventory, cooking and assembling orders, setting up and closing down stations, recipe preparation, dish machine operations, and cleaning.
Build orders based on established processes, procedures, guidelines, and recipes.
Monitor food quality, food presentation, and control food waste.
Assist within other areas as needed and perform other duties assigned.
Work Schedule The position may have weekend or evening shifts.

Flexibility, ability to communicate, and being a team player essential. Food Handler’s permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.
