Join Anoka-Hennepin School District as a full-time Paraeducator for the 2025‑26 school year. Responsibilities
Assist in instruction of students with disabilities in mainstream, resource room, or center‑based settings. Manage behavior through redirecting, calming, or removing disruptive students. Monitor and record student progress in academics, daily living skills, dressing, grooming, and social skills. Manage physical needs including toileting, feeding, dressing, lifting, positioning, and transporting students in wheelchairs. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent. Personal Care Assistant certification completed within 30 days of start date. Completed 60 semester/90 quarter credits or hold an associate degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution, or passed the ParaEducator exam or ParaPro exam. Good communication, interpersonal, and record‑keeping skills. Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds. Compensation
$20.00‑$27.30 per hour, depending on education, experience, and certification. Additional pay adjustments for center‑based or transition program assignments. Benefits
Insurance benefits available for positions of 6 hours or more per day. Start Date
