Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality middle school science instruction aligned with Colorado Academic Standards.
Use digital curriculum and instructional technology to enhance student engagement.
Post and communicate daily lesson objectives that students can clearly articulate.
Maintain a positive classroom culture using PBIS practices focused on respect, responsibility, and relationships.
Adapt instruction and materials to meet diverse academic and social-emotional needs.
Design and administer assessments to monitor progress and guide interventions.
Analyze student performance data to provide targeted, differentiated instruction.
Collaborate with colleagues through PLCs, team meetings, and professional development.
Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff to support student success.
Participate in school events, intervention planning, and curriculum development initiatives.
Qualifications
Valid Colorado Teaching License with appropriate middle school science endorsement.
Demonstrated mastery of science content and instructional best practices.
Experience using student data to drive instructional decisions.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to integrate educational technology into daily instruction.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Commitment to the mission and vision of a charter school environment.
