Offer Description A three-year position as a senior technician specialised in data science and artificial intelligence (AI) applied to behavioural, social and health sciences.

A Degree in Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or similar, with specific training in ML, R programming and developing statistical packages.
Specific Requirements
Candidates must have proven experience developing and maintaining R packages, solid skills in ML algorithms, and familiarity with the Jamovi platform and developing modules for the app.
On a personal level, we require somebody with an ability for organisation, attention to detail, communication skills to work with an international user community and the ability to work independently on highly complex technical projects.
The ideal candidate should have experience with AI applications in behavioural, social and health sciences, skills in KDD methodologies (knowledge discovery in databases) and skills in programming languages and handling next‑gen statistical models.
Particular consideration will be given to candidates with experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, skills in sensitivity analysis for ML models and a familiarity with pre‑processing techniques for complex and big data.

Qualifications in the specialist area (max. 20 points), other (max. 5 points).

Other merits (max. +5 points). Eg: recommendation letters.
Eligibility threshold: 60 points.
Candidates who hold the qualification corresponding to the required category in the job offer with a non‑EU degree, if selected, must present a certificate of equivalence of their non‑EU qualification to a European qualification, or proof of having applied for this equivalence, in order to proceed with their hiring. Selection process In accordance with article 8 of the REGULATORY AGREEMENT 145140 of 15th June 2022 that approves the regulation governing the recruitment of research staff under chapter 6 allocation of the university budget, as well as technical or operational research staff.

The management team for the relevant department.
The members of the Research Area Assessment Committee (CARAI).
Three experts in the field pertaining to recruitment, where appropriate, appointed by the chair of the committee, having heard from the management team of the department.
The head of the Management Office for the Research Promotion and Human Resources Programme (or person s/he delegates), acting as secretary, who may speak but not vote.
