Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Wage: Competitive pay based on experience

Position Overview Are you someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and has a strong work ethic? We’re seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to oversee inbound and outbound shipments, assist with inventory organization, and provide support to our production team as needed. Our facility operates a busy and compact loading dock, and this role is crucial to maintaining efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
Receive inbound deliveries promptly and accurately; unload, sort, and stock materials.
Verify shipments using Bill of Lading (BOL) or packing slips and log incoming goods, including all necessary certifications.
Track inventory of ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished products.
Scan Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and maintain digital documentation.
Monitor, trace, and update the status of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Notify appropriate teams of damaged or expired ingredients.
Keep the loading dock area clean, safe, and organized.
Maintain daily production logs and accurate counts of inventory.
Safely operate a forklift (must be certified or willing to obtain certification).
Support production line operations as needed.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
Promote and maintain a “Safety First” mindset in all tasks.
Qualifications
2+ years of shipping and receiving experience.
2+ years of forklift operation experience.
Experience in a brewery, winery, distillery, or food/beverage production strongly preferred.
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one promptly).
Skills & Abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
Tech‑savvy: comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and in‑house communication tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Adaptable and willing to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
Dependable, punctual, and team‑oriented.
Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Comfortable with evolving production needs and priorities.
