Description:
While candidates in all areas related to Mechanical Engineering will be considered, the preference will be given to those candidates whose research lies within the fields of 1) Fluid Mechanics & Thermal Sciences, and 2) Dynamics, Vibrations, & Acoustics, and aligns with one or more of the following focus areas: Energy, Transportation and Sustainability; Health Innovation and Human Resilience; Cyberinfrastructure, Machine Learning, AI, and Data Science. The Department and College are committed to fostering interdisciplinary research that can address grand challenges facing our society and innovate through a balance of fundamental and translational research. Collaboration with entities outside engineering and science is also highly encouraged.
Qualifications Ph.D. in Mechanical, Thermal Power or other closely related field of Engineering
