Children's Nest Preschool and Daycare is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic Infant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide a safe and stimulating environment for infants to grow and learn. You will play a vital role in establishing a strong foundation for their early development and fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Responsibilities for Infant Teacher
Provide a safe and loving environment for the infants in his/her care Give bottles to infants as provided by parents Feed infants' solid foods as age appropriate and provided by parents Change diapers as needed Soothe infants by singing to and cuddling them Supervise infants on the floor as they play with age appropriate toys Put infants in cribs for nap time Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean Requirements
Proven experience working with infants in a childcare or educational setting. A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their well-being and development. Knowledge of infant development milestones and ability to implement age-appropriate activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and engage with infants and their parents. - Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude in dealing with the challenges of working with infants. CPR and First Aid certification for infants and children (or willingness to obtain). High school diploma or equivalent (early childhood education certification preferred). Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Ability to work a shift in between 8:00 am -6:00 pm. I consent to be contacted over SMS/Text for this job.
