PLC Robotics Maintenance Technician 6pm - 6am
Job Duties
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on PLCs, robotics, servo drives, sensors, and other automation systems.
Troubleshoot and repair control systems, including Allen‑Bradley, Siemens, and Fanuc or ABB robots.
Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics to diagnose issues.
Maintain and update PLC programs, backups, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams on automation upgrades, new installations, and process improvements.
Perform network and communication diagnostics for PLC and robotic systems (Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, etc.).
Ensure all automation safety systems (interlocks, E‑stops, light curtains) are functional and compliant.
Support root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and assist in developing permanent corrective actions.
Train and assist other maintenance team members in PLC and robotics troubleshooting procedures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
Perform other duties assigned by Supervisors or Managers.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Experience in PLC troubleshooting, robotics maintenance, or industrial automation within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen‑Bradley, Fanuc, ABB, Siemens, etc.).
Experience with robotic systems (Fanuc, ABB, or KUKA).
Working knowledge of industrial sensors, VFDs, HMIs, and servo systems.
Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Familiarity with industrial networking and communication protocols.
