Ryder has opened a brand‑new state‑of‑the‑art warehouse in Port Deposit, MD and is immediately hiring Permanent Full‑Time Cherry Picker Material Handlers.
Pay & Schedule Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour for Day Shift (Wed‑Sat 6am‑6pm with half day on Wed).

Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products; load and unload trucks.
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core production hours.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least 1 year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid forklift operator's license.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Team‑player in a diverse work environment.
Professional relationships at all levels.
Highly thorough and dependable.
Punctual with good attendance record.
Minimal supervision required.
High initiative and accuracy under pressure.
Can lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
Can stand for long periods.
Adheres to health and safety procedures.
Available for flexible shift schedule.
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up.
