Qualifications
Valid California teaching credential with authorization to teach Mathematics grades 9-12 in a departmentalized setting.
CLAD/BCLAD/EL Authorization
Education: Bachelor's degree (subject matter competencies)
Experience: State-mandated experience in teaching Math; knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies.
Personal Qualities: resourceful, innovative, helpful, diligent, persistent, collaborative.
Other: Valid California Driver’s License (preferred).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach math, including curriculum design and instruction, at appropriate levels, including advanced placement.
Provide individualized and small group instruction as needed.
Develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records.
Use data to improve learning and instruction.
Maintain classroom standards of behavior and create a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with staff, parents, and administrators to support student success.
Schedule & Compensation
Work days:
184 days, 1.0 FTE
Annual salary:
$60,544 to $100,773 (entry-level placement; prorated based on FTE, start date, experience, and additional credits.)
