Managing Partner at SDL Search Partners | Boston-based Accounting & Finance Recruiter | Contingency, Executive & Retained Search | Always Available… Global, private‑held, services company is looking for a Controller to oversee General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll & support tax & treasury operations.

The ideal candidate is a Senior Accounting Manager or Accounting Manager who is ready for the next step in their career. An Accounting Manager who has experience in a large, global environment, and is comfortable in a hands‑on role, as well as leading and mentoring a team of approximately 7‑10 direct & indirect reports, could be a strong fit in this role.

This organization is well‑known for employee tenure & retention. The VP is looking for a candidate eager to grow in their career, who will want to stay long‑term, grow roots with the company and support & develop their team. The company has fantastic benefits, offers generous base + bonus compensation. Bonuses are based on company performance and historically pay out well above target.

Qualifications:

BS, Accounting / Finance or related

CPA strongly preferred

prior public accounting experience - Big Four a plus

hands‑on controllership experience in a global environment, ideally

*Will consider an Assistant Controller or Senior Manager stepping into this role*

excellent leadership abilities; able to mentor and develop a strong team

eager to improve processes, work collaboratively and be a key part of a supportive team
