A well-established Commercial General Contractor in Austin is seeking an experienced

Superintendent

to lead industrial finish-out and adaptive reuse projects. This GC specializes in transforming warehouse and industrial shells into fully functional office environments, tech spaces, and commercial interiors. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in fast-paced interior construction, sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining quality in occupied and unoccupied environments.

This role requires strong field leadership, a detail-focused approach, and the ability to manage complex MEP systems, structural modifications, and high-end finishes commonly associated with converting industrial spaces into office environments.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day field operations for industrial finish-out and warehouse-to-office conversion projects.

Manage schedule sequencing, subcontractors, inspections, and jobsite logistics.

Ensure all work meets quality, code, and safety standards.

Coordinate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and client representatives.

Manage MEP coordination, structural modifications, and high-finish interior scopes.

Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, RFIs, and progress updates.

Drive completion within schedule and budget while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional jobsite.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5–10 years of superintendent experience with a Commercial General Contractor.

Experience in industrial finish-outs, tenant improvements, adaptive reuse, or warehouse-to-office conversions required.

Strong understanding of MEP sequencing and interior build-out processes.

Proven history of long-term tenure and stable employment with previous employers.

Ability to manage multiple subcontractor trades simultaneously in fast-paced environments.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Must reside in or have reliable daily access to the
