HR Generalist – Employee Relations Focus

We are seeking an experienced
HR Generalist
with a strong background in
employee relations
to support a dynamic workforce of approximately
800 employees
at our downtown Los Angeles location. This role is critical in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance, and partnering with leadership to drive HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution
Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Support performance management processes, including coaching and corrective action plans
Collaborate with leadership on engagement strategies and workforce planning
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Assist with HR programs including onboarding, benefits administration, and training initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
7+ years of HR experience with a strong emphasis on employee relations
Proven ability to manage complex investigations and provide sound recommendations
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of California labor laws and regulations
Experience supporting large employee populations in a fast‑paced environment
Compensation:
$40 to $55 per hour

Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
