Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles, ensuring a steady talent pipeline.
Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures on the manufacturing floor.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and industry-specific regulations (e.g., OSHA).
Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans for all manufacturing staff.
Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and equity for hourly and salaried employees.
Drive health and safety initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant safety standards.
Identify and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills, productivity, and career growth within the plant.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience managing HR functions within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations and compliance.
Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
Experience with HRIS platforms and payroll processing.
Ability to develop and implement effective safety programs and manage workers' compensation claims.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Multilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems designed for shift work and production environments.
OSHA 10/30 certification or strong background in industrial safety programs.
