We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Payroll & HRIS Manager to join our growing team. This role will oversee global payroll operations and HR systems as we expand into multiple regions and build scalable infrastructure. Reporting to the VP, People & Talent and working closely with finance, this individual will manage payroll across the US, UK, Ireland, and France, support a corporate and wholesale retail workforce, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance across all jurisdictions. This role will be located in New York City, and will be in office at least three (3) days a week.

Payroll Operations
Own and oversee global payroll administration for the US, UK, Ireland, and France, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations.
Partner with Finance on payroll funding, reconciliations, and month‑end reporting.
Manage payroll inputs for hourly, salaried, and commission‑eligible employees.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, filings, and year‑end activities in each region.
Establish scalable processes to support future market expansion.
HRIS & Systems Management
Serve as system administrator for the company’s HRIS and payroll platforms, ensuring data accuracy, security, and optimization.
Maintain employee data across systems with the highest integrity and confidentiality.
Lead system enhancements, integrations, and reporting capabilities to support People, Finance, and business needs.
Train managers and employees on system usage and self‑service functionality.
Reporting & Analytics
Develop and deliver regular people and payroll reporting to VP of People and CFO.
Analyze workforce data (e.g., headcount, turnover, overtime, commissions) to inform business decisions.
Build dashboards and automated reports to improve visibility and accuracy.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure compliance with all payroll, tax, and employment regulations across multiple geographies.
Stay current on global labor and tax law changes impacting payroll and HR systems.
Partner with external providers and local consultants to ensure alignment with best practices.
Experience
5 - 8 years of payroll and HRIS experience, ideally in global, multi‑entity environments.
Expertise in managing payroll for hourly, salaried, and commission‑eligible employees.
Strong knowledge of payroll compliance in the US, UK, Ireland, and France (or proven ability to quickly adapt).
Demonstrated success managing HRIS platforms (e.g., JustWorks, Rippling, or similar).
Strong analytical and reporting skills; advanced Excel/Sheets required.
Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
Salary Range: The Salary Range for this position is $100K to $120K, with exact salary depending on the location, prior work experience, and the assessment for one's fit of the role.
