This role supports the Arizona and New Mexico Accounting and Finance leadership team, partnering cross-functionally with warehouse, accounting, pricing, trade development, and executive teams in a multi-state environment.
Key Responsibilities Responsible for month-end and year-end close activities, including expense analysis, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, gross profit reconciliation, and financial reporting. Manages budget vs. actual analysis, supplier aging, bank reconciliations, tax filings, payroll support, commissions and incentive processing, spoils and petty cash reconciliation, and coordination on license renewals. Assists with forecasting, corporate reporting, and audit support as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience), strong GAAP knowledge, and at least three years of general ledger reconciliation experience. Proficiency in Excel is essential; SAP experience is preferred. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and the capacity to work independently while meeting deadlines.
