This is a full-time, on-site role for a DOT (Department of Transportation) Administrator based in Roseville, CA. The DOT Administrator is responsible for implementing DOT programs and policies within the organization to ensure compliance with DOT regulations. The DOT Administrator will work closely with management and employees to ensure regulatory compliance, identify potential hazards, mitigate risks, and foster a safe and compliant working environment.

Experience

2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in DOT / FMCSA compliance, fleet safety, or transportation safety

Experience maintaining Driver Qualification Files (DQFs) in accordance with 49 CFR Part 391

Experience conducting or coordinating:

Annual MVR reviews

Medical certificate tracking

Clearinghouse queries (pre‑employment and annual)

Experience interpreting and applying FMCSA regulations in real operational settings

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting or leading DOT audits or compliance reviews

Experience working with CDL drivers in construction, pipeline, utility, or heavy civil environments

Experience using ELD systems and managing Hours of Service compliance

Experience coordinating with TPAs, drug & alcohol consortiums, and medical providers

Experience enforcing compliance actions, including removing drivers from service when required

Knowledge & Education

High School diploma, GED equivalent.

Knowledge of 49 CFR Parts 382, 383, 390–399, including:

Drug & Alcohol Testing (Part 382)

CDL requirements (Part 383)

Hours of Service & ELDs (Part 395)

Vehicle inspections & maintenance (Part 396)

Knowledge in DOT Compliance Administration:

Drug & Alcohol Consortium management

Annual MVR reviews/CA EPN

Medical certificates tracking

DOT/FMCSA Compliance Certificate (e.g., JJ Keller, Foley, NATMI, or equivalent)

Drug & Alcohol Program Management training

Clearinghouse Administrator training
