What to Expect
The DOT Administrator is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations as they related to driver qualification. This role manages Driver Qualification Files (DQFs), monitors Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs), and supports the company's overall safety and compliance program. The DOT Administrator will support program leads, applicants, drivers, and internal departments regarding compliance documentation and requirements.
What You'll Do
Responsible for making sure every application processed is 100% accurate and complete, including all required documentation
Interpret MVRs and determine eligibility based on company and DOT Standards
Track and maintain expiring driver documents, including medical certificates, licenses, and training records, and follow up with drivers as needed
Monitor, track, and update drivers' annual MVRs to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards
Follow company standard procedures, including the use of identified technologies and methods for obtaining accurate and complete driver records
Conduct routine audits of DQFs to verify accuracy and compliance
Communicate with internal departments to resolve compliance-related issues
What You'll Bring
2+ years of professional experience, bonus if it was DOT focused
Basic understanding of DOT and FMCSA regulations, specifically DQFs
Basic level MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Deadline Driven with excellent organizational skills
Capability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure
Comfortable working in confidential environment
Comfortable working independently

Expected Compensation $21.60 - $39.00/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
