Job Description Summary We are seeking a Road Mechanic/Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment, including aerial work platforms, construction tools, generators, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas systems.
Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of equipment in remote locations.
Identify and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Work safely and follow company safety standards.
Adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; trade school or equivalent training preferred.
3–5 years of mechanical experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines (generators, pumps, HVAC, oil & gas).
Valid driver’s license; acceptable driving record (21 years of age & CDL may be required in some locations).
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Ability to use mechanic’s tools of trade.
Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location.
Physical Demands Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, lift 50 lbs or more, and work both indoors and outdoors.
Pay & Benefits Base pay range: $22.40 – $30.80 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on location, experience, and training.
