Job Title: Business Systems Analyst – Wealth Management

Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with Wealth Management experience to join our team in Fort Mill, SC. This hybrid role partners closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to analyze, design, and deliver system solutions that support wealth management platforms and business processes. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, financial services domain knowledge, and experience translating business needs into technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Wealth Management business stakeholders (Advisors, Operations, Compliance, Product, and Technology) to gather and document business and system requirements
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, workflows, and process diagrams
Support development teams by clarifying requirements, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and design discussions
Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios, validate system functionality, and support UAT
Ensure solutions align with regulatory, compliance, and security requirements common to wealth management (e.g., suitability, reporting, data privacy)
Support implementation, deployment, and post-production activities including issue resolution and process optimization
Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to ensure clear communication and successful delivery
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst
Demonstrated experience in Wealth Management or related financial services (e.g., brokerage, asset management, investment advisory)
Strong understanding of wealth management concepts such as portfolios, account types, trading, reporting, and client onboarding
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong documentation skills (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows)
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with wealth management platforms, portfolio management systems, or CRM tools
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements impacting wealth management systems
Experience supporting data integration, reporting, or analytics solutions
CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar certification
Hybrid role: Combination of on-site work in Fort Mill, SC and remote work
