Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain critical IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure, ensuring high availability for production systems.
Oversee cybersecurity initiatives for both IT and OT environments to protect manufacturing data and intellectual property.
Lead the implementation and optimization of manufacturing execution systems (MES), ERP, and other production‑critical software.
Provide technical support and resolution for IT‑related issues affecting manufacturing operations and shop floor technology.
Develop and execute IT strategies that align with manufacturing objectives, driving efficiency and innovation.
Manage IT vendor relationships and procurement for hardware, software, and services relevant to manufacturing needs.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal IT policies across all manufacturing sites.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience in IT leadership and strategy development within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Demonstrated expertise with manufacturing‑specific IT systems (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA, IoT) and their integration with operational technology (OT).
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly as they apply to industrial control systems (ICS) and data protection.
Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, including network architecture, server administration, and cloud services.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful IT implementation and upgrade projects.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems like SCADA, MES, or PLC.
Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and IoT integration in a production environment.
Knowledge of IT security best practices for manufacturing environments (OT/ICS security).
Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies applied to IT processes.
Understanding of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems specifically tailored for manufacturing operations (e.g., SAP PP/MM, Oracle Manufacturing).
