The Role:
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be at the forefront of talent acquisition, responsible for identifying and engaging top-tier candidates to meet our organisation's hiring needs. Your skills in sourcing strategies and candidate outreach will be utilised across job boards, social media, and professional networks to find candidates that align with our client’s values and requirements.
Salary Range:
$75,000 – $90,000 Base
What you’ll be doing
Execute candidate sourcing and attraction plans, engaging candidates from known talent pools (internal ATS/CRM, alumni, and other channels).
Ensure recruitment services meet contractual obligations and client SLAs.
Lead hiring strategy meetings to agree on recruitment plans with hiring managers.
Use data‑led sourcing insights to determine the best hiring strategy for each requisition.
Review CVs and screen candidates to present quality short‑lists to hiring managers, coaching them through selection decisions.
Deliver an excellent candidate experience from first contact through interview process to start date.
Drive hiring decisions and manage the offer process.
Address stakeholder issues and share knowledge to enhance recruitment delivery.
Support future hiring requirements by talent pooling relevant quality candidates.
Technology and Compliance
Track candidate status and requisition updates in relevant systems.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share upselling opportunities.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and track compliance risks.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with hiring managers.
Internal Stakeholder Relationships
Collaborate with Talent Sourcing, Insights, Talent Attraction, and Administration teams for a smooth client and candidate experience.
Skills & Experience
3–5 years
of talent acquisition experience, including proactive sourcing using a variety of channels.
Proven experience in talent sourcing within investment banking or financial services, mapping the market, identifying passive candidates, and building pipelines for hard‑to‑fill roles.
Strong communication skills – negotiate, influence, and convey information clearly in both verbal and written formats.
Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to absorb and apply information effectively to make informed decisions and influence stakeholders.
Proficient in MS Office and similar tools; confident in leveraging online research to source information and talent.
Skilled in conducting research and analysis, interpreting data, and presenting actionable recommendations to support decision‑making.
