Senior Infrastructure Administrator Contract only

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, System Analysis, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Typically, 4+ years’ relevant experience in network administration, technology systems administration, or related field in an enterprise environment.

Strong understanding of workload automation concepts and best practices.

Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting, Java.

Public Cloud experience

Preferred OS experience (Unix, Linux, Windows, iSeries)

Basic scripting knowledge of Windows, CMD/PS1, Unix, Linux, Web Services, SOAP, and REST

Preferred Networking experience to help diagnose any connectivity issues with process servers, platform agents, secure gateways, emails, etc.

Preferred API experience to assist manage integrations with multiple systems.

Admin experience on any other platform like an ERP or a SaaS platform

Preferred Experience with your Enterprise applications: SAP, ServiceNow, Etc.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience with a Batch Scheduling Software such as SAP Redwood, Help Systems.

High level of trouble shooting and problem-solving skills

Familiarity in distributed systems integration or cloud services a plus

Above average written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical issues in a language understood by different levels of business leadership, end users and technical resources.

Ability to multi-task including the ability to make sound decisions and execute responsibilities of the position in a fast moving and high-pressure environment.

Play an active role in process improvements and development utilizing ITIL Framework

Experience using common networking protocols and diagnosing, repairing, and recovering networks.

Extensive experience in server administration, network management, virtualization technologies, cloud computing, and security practices.

Experience with network routing and security, network virtualization, and performing patch upgrades.

Experience configuring and maintaining firewalls.

Professional certifications, e.g., Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, etc. Preferred Certifications: Redwood-RJM administrator

Preferred Skills

Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure, hybrid cloud models, and platform services.

Deep knowledge of operating environments (e.g., Windows, UNIX, and Linux when necessary), technical components, APIs, and integration.

Concrete knowledge of cloud/network/telecom/infra installation, configuration, and maintenance.

In depth knowledge of various IT systems, networks, and infrastructure components, particularly supporting the network.

Knowledge and application of IT best practices for network, cloud, security, governance, identity and access management, and monitoring.

Leading skills in configuration management to utilize tools for identifying, recording, controlling, changing, and deploying services.

Leading communication and collaboration skills to ensure that moderate to complex and technical issues can be discussed among diverse audiences.

Demonstrated debugging and problem-solving skills to apply systematic approaches for identifying and solving potential bugs while identifying and mitigating problems.

Demonstrated security and vulnerability testing/threat modeling skills to develop risk mitigation strategies.

Proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one.

Proven ability to plan and evaluate IT infrastructure, including hardware/software requirements, capacity planning, and ensure scalability and performance optimization enabling network connectivity and availability.

Proven ability to diagnose, repair, and recover large databases/platforms/systems/networks.

Ability to work with developers/team members in an outsourced environment.

Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper‑V.

Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Proficiency in network management tools and monitoring solutions.

Scripting skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
