Aegis Worldwide partners with manufacturing and engineering talent across the U.S. Our manufacturing client in the Ashland City, TN area is seeking an Industrial Maintenance professional to keep automated production running at peak performance.
A day in this role You start with the preventive maintenance schedule—inspecting mechanical and electrical systems, logging findings, and prioritizing tasks. By mid‑morning, you might diagnose a PLC fault on an Allen‑Bradley panel, trace a 480V issue through schematics, and bring a line back online. After lunch, you could swap a three‑phase motor, tune a VFD, repair a servo axis fault, or adjust a conveyor chain. When needed, you’ll repair facility and building components and support robotics troubleshooting. Throughout, you’ll interpret blueprints and electrical drawings to solve problems quickly and safely.
What you’ll handle
Preventive maintenance on production equipment (mechanical and electrical)
Troubleshooting and repair of electrical components, robotics, and mechanical/building systems
Work with 3‑phase motors, AC/DC systems, VFDs, and servo drives
Controls and automation support, including PLCs
Hydraulic and pneumatic system installation and repair
Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
Your toolkit
PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation diagnostics
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across single- and three-phase power
Comfort with 120/208/240/480V systems
Motor change‑out, repair, and maintenance
Conveyor chain replacement and alignment
Preventive maintenance and inspection best practices
Hydraulics and pneumatics experience
Industrial electrical experience and blueprint reading
Machines and technologies you’ll use
Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
