Base Pay Range $28.00/hr - $32.00/hr
Picture this: you step onto the floor for your second‑shift handoff. A line operator flags a packaging issue. You review the work order, pull up the electrical schematic, trace a sensor fault through the PLC, and have the machine running before production loses momentum. Later, you swap out a worn bearing, log your PM tasks in detail, and collaborate with production to schedule a test run after an equipment install. Throughout the shift, you keep safety first and uptime high.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, plumbing, and fabrication issues across plant machinery and facility systems.
Execute scheduled and preventive maintenance on production, processing, and packaging equipment to maximize reliability.
Install, test, commission, and troubleshoot new equipment for safe, efficient operation.
Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and restore equipment functionality.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, service manuals, technical documents, and work orders.
Accurately document labor, repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Partner with operations and leadership to reduce downtime and improve throughput.
Identify and implement safety, reliability, and performance improvements.
Qualifications Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in a technical field preferred.
Experience
1–2 years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
Core Skills
Expertise in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
Strong prioritization in a fast‑paced environment; detail‑oriented problem solver.
Works independently and collaboratively; committed to safety and quality.
