The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and recruit qualified candidates for a range of manufacturing roles, including production, skilled trades, and engineering.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand departmental needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job requisition to offer acceptance, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, vocational schools, and local community outreach, to attract talent.
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, safety awareness, and cultural fit for a manufacturing environment.
- Maintain accurate candidate data and recruitment metrics within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Stay informed on manufacturing industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor recruitment activities.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience recruiting for various manufacturing roles (e.g., production, engineering, quality, maintenance).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, work environments, and industry-specific skill requirements.
- Ability to effectively source and attract passive candidates for specialized technical and operational positions.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and modern sourcing techniques.
- Excellent interviewing, negotiation, and candidate assessment skills relevant to the industrial sector.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with specific manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC, welding, automation) or engineering disciplines.
- Active involvement in local manufacturing associations, trade groups, or technical schools.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Experience with recruitment data analysis and reporting.
