Associate Business Development Manager - Carolinas/Southeast
Wells Enterprises is seeking an experienced Associate Business Development Manager to drive sales and trade spending objectives in the Southeast region. The role supports the Team Lead and Senior Business Development Manager across strategic growth plans and account management.
Job Description Responsibilities:
Account Ownership: Manage key accounts including Ingles, Food City, and SE Regional Independents.
Execution: Validate and analyze promotions; conduct post‑promo analysis for Kroger meetings; optimize promotional strategies in terms of price points, items, timing, and frequency; support CPI, price tracking, price advance, and OOS/scan monitoring.
Business Support: Perform post‑audit research; project case for display ordering; provide data to Sales Finance to reconcile deductions.
Wells Execution: Handle annual planning/CPT management/forecast/trade; deductions/claims reconciliation; shopper/ecomm partnership; ordering samples; PO tracking; Ferrero/Ferrera partnership; business planning meetings (e.g., Top Tier, Fast Start).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
Minimum 2 years of account selling experience with a CPG company.
Strong presentation and influential communication skills.
Problem‑solving and analytical skills.
High interpersonal skills to foster and develop relationships that expand the business base and create growth opportunities.
Ability to prioritize and multitask within a broad scope of responsibility and fast‑paced environment.
