Business Development Manager - Kroger
Wells Enterprises is currently seeking a Business Development Manager for its Kroger Team. The manager will lead the development of business solutions within an assigned geography, focusing on generating revenue and achieving profit and trade spend objectives. Responsibilities
Retail account development; awareness of customer strategy and performance; knowledge of customer policies and procedures Apply Category Management principles; convert data to insights; use insights to influence customer behavior; demonstrate category knowledge and performance drivers; awareness of key consumer and shopper insights Volume forecast management P&L / Trade management Accounts payable management Annual joint business planning Monthly business reviews Asset management Arrange business meetings and one‑on‑one conversations with prospective customers Discover and explore new business opportunities with internal business case development Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred Minimum of 4 years account selling experience with a CPG company, with experience calling on Kroger required Goal‑oriented, organized team player Eager to expand the company by gaining new distribution in both regional chains and independent customers Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to multi‑task, prioritize and manage time effectively Self‑motivated and self‑directed Experienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects Demonstrated and proven sales results Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) Seniority level
