Posting Details: Position GA000112. Department: Leadership, Ethics & Values. Supervisor: Dr. Julie Nagashima, Assistant Professor of Ethical Leadership and Coordinator, Character. Position ID GA-LEVS.

Job Duties

Work primarily in-person at the LEV house during office hours.

Attend weekly check-in meetings to review progress, plan tasks, and discuss priorities.

Engage in ongoing personal leadership development and show willingness to learn and grow.

Assist or lead LEV-related programs, events, and activities.

Plan, support, and organize community hour events (T and Th 11:30‑1:30).

Support periodic evening and signature events with set up and tear down, clean up after the event.

Support student organizations as the graduate advisor.

Assist with drafting and/or delivering communications such as annual reports, newsletters, and social media.

Assist marketing efforts for academic programs: MORG, LEV Fellows, Leadership concentration, Majors/Minors, student organizations, digital badging program, character certificate program, and student organizations under LEV.

Mentor student workers and support the events or tasks they lead.

Assist faculty with administrative duties: take notes during meetings, make copies, develop and disseminate printed materials for LEV programs, etc.

Job Qualifications

Accepted into a graduate program at North Central College.

Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively.

Professional communication skills: respond promptly to emails, meet deadlines, represent the LEV program with maturity and professionalism in interactions with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners.

Maintain integrity and confidentiality of sensitive program information; demonstrate sound judgment.

Comfort in leading groups and facilitating discussions.

Experience in event planning or student leadership preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Problem‑solving and critical thinking skills.

Intermediate skills using MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

Experience with Canva, Google Suite, and social media management.

Work Hours and Compensation Approximately 20 hours per week during the academic year, excluding academic breaks. Position replaces previous holder.
