Job Responsibilities
Manage and monitor large projects or accounting processes within the regulatory reporting function
Provide guidance and communicate accounting policy changes to leaders and business lines
Direct capital reporting teams by reviewing financial information and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and standardize new regulatory reporting requirements
Coach and delegate work to junior professionals as needed
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent field
Minimum of 9 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field within the Banking or Financial Services Industry
Advanced understanding of accounting practices, including US GAAP/IFRS and regulatory reporting standards
Strong project management skills and ability to lead and influence peers and management
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent field
CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification
Advanced database skills (Access, SQL, Oracle, SAS)
Knowledge of European Basel III capital reporting
Experience with Microsoft Office products
