Responsibilities

Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.

Use and understand Waste LINQ software for accurate data entry, manifests, labels, reports, and job packets.

Manage waste profiling, including generating and submitting accurate profiles to TSDFs, handling amendments, and verifying pricing.

Assist in managing on‑site 10‑Day activities, waste storage requirements, inspections, and record‑keeping.

Coordinate with Sales and Operations for customer waste pick‑ups and deliveries to TSDFs.

Perform lab packing, job walks, inventory lists, sampling, characterization, and support HHW collection events.

Oversee non‑hazardous/VSQG bulking, consolidation, re‑packaging, drum‑in‑drum‑out programs.

Ensure proper management, manifest, labeling, storage, and disposal of waste from ERs.

Serve as main point of contact for GHD representatives and manage timely waste activities.

Conduct internal and external audits of manifests; provide training and oversight.

Review and approve third‑party vendor invoices and pricing requests.

Perform related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities

Familiarity with 49 CFR 171 and 40 CFR 265.

Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and RCRA regulations for hazardous waste handling and transport.

Willing to travel 25–50% of the time, including overnight stays.

Safety‑oriented mindset; committed to following all procedures.

Experience learning new systems and training support staff.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education & Experience

40‑hour HAZWOPER certification.

Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, equivalent science discipline, or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

Experience with handling, characterizing, packaging, transporting, and manifesting hazardous and non‑hazardous waste.
