Position Summary
The MEP Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a range of project types, including mission critical, commercial, healthcare, industrial facilities. This role oversees design coordination, prefabrication, and delivery while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Support one large project or multiple concurrent projects being modularly designed and fabricated within the company’s manufacturing facility
Work closely with self‑perform crews, including craftsmen, foremen, and ownership, to ensure successful execution
Plan and manage mechanical scopes from project initiation through completion, coordinating all moving parts involved in delivery
Apply Lean principles to optimize workflows while aligning execution with owner expectations
Manage project financials, ensuring cost control, forecasting, and schedule adherence
Mentor junior team members and help prepare them for the next stage of their careers
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
7–10+ years of experience in a related role
Proven experience managing multiple MEP projects within an MEP or mechanical contracting environment
Experience with Design‑Build delivery and modular fabrication is strongly preferred
Familiarity with Lean Construction tools is a plus
Experience supporting data centers, federal projects, industrial facilities, and/or healthcare environments is highly desirable
Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and piping systems, from design through construction
Highly organized with a strong focus on planning, process improvement, and continuous innovation
Ability to think creatively and lead teams in implementing innovative construction and prefabrication strategies
Demonstrated experience managing mechanical construction projects for a mechanical contractor
Accountable, proactive, and ownership‑driven approach to project execution
Strong problem‑solving skills with a results‑oriented mindset
Solid business acumen with a clear understanding of project financials and forecasting
Strong relationships with field teams and an understanding of how to maximize team performance
Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to achieve shared objectives
