BI Analyst / Business Intelligence Engineer 2
CarePlus Health Plans is looking for a BI Analyst / Business Intelligence Engineer 2 to solve complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision‑makers. Responsibilities
Developing and optimizing data models, ETL processes, and dashboards to track key performance indicators. Supporting the team's ability to analyze customer, provider, and operational data, ensuring actionable insights for leadership. Automating and improving reporting processes, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy and predictability. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams (Product, Finance, Operations) to ensure data consistency, governance, and alignment with enterprise standards. Required Qualifications
5 or more years of technical experience in Healthcare data analysis. 2 or more years of experience in SQL, SAS or other data systems. Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation), PowerPoint, Visio and Access (data analysis, experience with relational databases). Expertise in assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher. Experience with data mining and predictive modeling techniques. Ability to use data to drive business outcomes and decisions. Experience in Medicare/Medicaid, CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services) or other Federally regulated healthcare programs. Experience with Humana systems, specifically Service Fund. Experience with tools such as Power BI for creating data visualizations. Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics. Understanding of organizational operations and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Other Information
Work Style:
Remote / work‑at‑home. Occasional travel to Humana offices may be required. Work Hours:
Monday‑Friday, 8 hr/day. All associates must start between 6 AM‑9 AM EST. Travel:

$66,800–$91,100 per year; bonus incentive plan available. Benefits
