h edge fund with a great collaborative culture is looking to hire an Office Coordinator/Assistant Office Manager for their brand-new Midtown NYC office. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast‑paced setting, enjoy being at the core of organizational activities, and are passionate about fostering inclusivity and enhancing workplace culture.
Salary commensurate with experience:
$80 - 110k base + discretionary bonus + excellent benefits including 401k with 3% contribution, 15 days’ vacation + free meals and additional perks
Fully onsite
Monday – Friday in Midtown NYC
Hours:
8am - 5pm
We are seeking a dependable and customer‑focused Office Coordinator to ensure the seamless and efficient operation of our office environment.
Responsibilities include:
Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Provide general facility management services, including continuous monitoring and maintenance of the space and appliances
Respond to both internal and external facilities/operations requests
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for service and repairs of equipment, supply level maintenance, and general office upkeep
Create work orders for the building’s engineering staff and manage any repairs
Assist with coordinating special events
Prepare conference rooms before and after meetings
Maintain appropriate levels of office, kitchen, and cleaning supplies
Mail and package delivery and tracking
Assist the corporate services team and management with ad hoc projects and assignments
Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of Office administration/coordination experience in a fast‑paced, corporate environment
Detail oriented and organized, with strong ability to multitask
Excels in a fast paced, team‑oriented environment
Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem‑solving skills
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40+ pounds
Proactive with a “can‑do” mentality
