is seeking a skilled and proactive
Litigation Paralegal
to support attorneys through all stages of the litigation process. This position offers
strong opportunities for upward mobility
within a nationally recognized legal environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. This is a hybrid position, requiring
three in-office days per week . Key Responsibilities Case Evaluation & File Management Conduct initial case reviews to support attorney evaluation. Draft case chronologies, “cast of characters,” answers, and other pleadings. Oversee the receipt, intake, and organization of client documents. Maintain case files according to established standards and prepare them for storage or return as needed. Discovery Management Draft discovery requests and responses for attorney review. Coordinate production of documentary responses and ensure sufficiency. Attend document productions and work with clients to obtain necessary documentation. Depositions Coordinate and schedule depositions. Draft deposition outlines, prepare exhibits, and identify materials for expert analysis. Prepare and serve subpoenas; arrange court reporters and videographers. Attend depositions and prepare detailed transcript summaries. Litigation Support & Investigations Coordinate creation and maintenance of litigation support databases. Manage document imaging, deposition summaries, and word searches; link written and imaged materials. Assist with factual investigations, including witness searches, interviews, public record searches, and summarization of employment and medical records. Trial Preparation & Support Assemble trial binders and exhibits; prepare demonstratives and coordinate logistics and equipment. Assist in drafting motions, jury instructions, and witness/exhibit lists. Draft direct and cross-examination outlines; support jury selection efforts. Operate trial presentation software and attend trial as needed. Legal Research & Post-Trial Work Conduct basic legal and medical research using online and library resources. Assist with post-trial and appellate tasks, including polling jurors, drafting memoranda of costs, cite-checking briefs, and assembling excerpts of record. Qualifications 4–10 years of litigation paralegal experience. Strong knowledge of litigation processes, discovery, and trial preparation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities. Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
