Base Pay Range

$135,000 – $185,000 per year

This role focuses on

New York Labor Law (Sections 240/241)

and

General Liability

litigation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigator who wants meaningful responsibility, hands‑on litigation experience, and the support of a collaborative legal team. You’ll manage your own caseload with autonomy, while working alongside seasoned partners who offer mentorship, insight, and support.

About The Role You will be responsible for managing a full caseload involving New York Labor Law and general liability claims. The role includes:

Handling all phases of litigation from intake through resolution or trial.

Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.

Conducting legal research and analysis.

Taking and defending depositions.

Attending court conferences, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.

Communicating with clients, insurance carriers, and opposing counsel.

Collaborating with partners on litigation strategy.

This is a

hybrid position

with a flexible mix of remote and in‑office work.

What We’re Looking For

Active license to practice law in New York (required).

Minimum of 4 years’ experience handling NYS Labor Law Sections 240/241 and general liability matters.

Strong background in civil defense litigation, including pleadings, motions, depositions, and discovery.

Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.

Ability to independently manage deadlines and case strategy.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Experience in mediation, arbitration, or trial is a plus.

Dual licensure in PA, NJ, or another jurisdiction is a plus.
