What You’ll Do
As part of our
New York Asbestos Defense team , you will manage a diverse caseload involving:
Asbestos and toxic tort defense
Product liability and premises exposure claims
Responsibilities include:
Drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions
Conducting and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses
Managing discovery and developing case strategy
Attending court conferences, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Communicating directly with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel
Assisting with trial preparation and participating in trial as needed
This position provides the opportunity to gain
substantial hands‑on experience and mentorship from experienced trial attorneys in a supportive, collaborative environment.
What We’re Looking For
Licensed to practice law in New York (required)
2+ years of experience in asbestos defense, toxic tort, or related litigation
Licenses in Connecticut, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania are highly desirable
Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Proven ability to handle motion practice, depositions, and client communications independently
Strong organizational and time management skills
Team‑oriented mindset with a proactive, client‑focused approach
