What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors
Negotiate contracts to protect the company’s interests and maximize value
Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
Identify and mitigate potential vendor risks
Conduct regular vendor evaluations to ensure they meet company standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
6 months to 1 year of related experience in vendor management or a similar role
Knowledge of the insurance industry and procurement processes
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCP)
Experience with cost reduction techniques and financial management
Familiarity with KPI tracking and process improvement methodologies
Background in training and development related to vendor management
